Breakfast | Dalgona Coffee & Omelette (Ham), 2020


DALGONA COFFEE at home:
Ingredients: (Serve about 2-3 cup)
2 tablespoon of instant coffee
2 tablespoon of granulated sugar
2 tablespoon of hot water
Milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Step by Step:
1. Add the instant coffee, sugar and water to a bowl.
2. Whisk vigorously (400 times!!) or use hand mixture (easier process).
3. The mixtures should become super thick (like whipped cream) and turn a subtle golden-brown colour.
4. Pour milk into a glass filled with ice cubes and scoop the pillowy mixture on top of the cold milk.
5. Outcome, the coffee keeps the cold brew flowing, like two tone colour.


OMELETTE (HAM) at home:
Ingredients:
2 Eggs
1/2 tablespoon of salt
Peppercorn & Chili Powder
Ham (cut into small pieces)
1 tablespoon of Milk (dairy or non-dairy)

Step by Step:
1. BEAT the eggs, salt, pepper in small bowl until blended.
2. HEAT cooking oil in non-stick pan over medium-high heat until hot.
3. POUR egg mixture into pan, mixture should set immediately at edges.
4. PUSH cooked portions gently from edges toward the center with turner so that uncooked eggs can reach the hot pan surface.
5. TILTING the pan continually and gently move cooked portions as needed.
6. PLACE filling (ham) on the omelette, when top surface of eggs is thickened.
7. FOLD omelette in half with turner and Slide omelette onto plate.
