KL Walk | Jalan Tun Sambanthan | Little India Brickfields

JALAN TUN SAMBANTHAN (formerly Jalan Brickfields) is a major road in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was built in 1982 and named after Tun V.T. Sambanthan, a former Minister of Works and Communications and one of the founding fathers of Malaysia. It is emerging as a hot property area due to the nearby KL Sentral.

The area is the biggest Little India in Malaysia, and its streets are filled with Indian shops that sell Indian clothing, jewellery stores, provisions and food (low-key restaurants and traditional food stalls). This Little India of the federal capital has a high percentage of Indian residents and businesses, contributing to its name.
